Here we go back to listening, but we use our hands to modify our perception of the soundscape. Again , like in Prelude no. 3, we find a strange tree on the right side of the road. It’s a tree which grew with a hole in its trunk, inviting us to peep through its hole. Can we do the same with our hearing? Can we focus the direction of our hearing thanks to our hand, producing a result similar to the shotgun microphone?
